MEASURE YOUR BELLY BUTTON
Do you measure your belly button? Could you measure, how many feet is your reason? Or how big would you measure your love? What about the exact value of your Faith?
The central question is, would YOU be willing to MEASURE YOUR BELLY BUTTON? It sounds like a stupid question, but I mean, be who you are now, your ego, would you be willing and acknowledge your flaws?
There is a technical phrase in management, “What can be measured, can be improved” said Peter Drucker (1909/2005). From a current perspective maybe this seems insignificant, but it made me wonder, as a student, if I could measure something like this? Probably not in conventional methods, for example using a tape measure or a ruler.
However, by analyzing efforts, character, actions, and words, it would be possible. So by putting this in a planned way, perhaps we could, yes, measure and make improvements.
To have improvements, we first have to have a problem, something that is not yet good; I don’t want here to question superficial things or to say that we should change our essence, I’m talking about a somewhat personal high analysis that goes beyond what has already been mentioned: measuring tapes, rulers or any measuring device.
The determining factor here is not to take the perfect condition or to nail it to some label, but to look for good decisions about the present that will probably reach your future. Seeking improvement and motivation is better than dying in the freezing cold without hope.
So, I ask rhetorically, would you still be willing to measure your BELLY BUTTON? To talk about what bothers you and overflow, all the way to the glass. to recap, a subjective and personal opinion to express something we may have in common.
Let me hear your response if you feel comfortable with that.
See you soon!
