How to setup WordPress on Xampp
Installation of WordPress on a local server using Xampp is common among site owners and developers (Developers), as it allows users to experiment with WordPress and learn about its features and capabilities without having to design a full website.
Xampp is one of the software you download to be able to install WordPress on a local server, and it’s the quickest option for starters because it doesn’t have much of the complexity.
PHP is the programming language used in the development of WordPress, and MySQL is the database management language for WordPress.
Both are used to operate and manage the WordPress system.
Install WordPress on a local server using Xampp First:
You will need to download the latest version of WordPress on your device by visiting the official WordPress.org website
After you download it, extract the Zip file, the WordPress folder will appear, copy this folder, and then go to the XAMPP installation path.
It was time to create a website database by opening a new browser book and writing localhost /PHPMyAdmin/ URL to phpMyAdmin, which is already installed by Xampp. Also, this allows you to easily control the database using a simpler interface.
Now choose Databases or Databases, choose a name for the database and choose to Create or Create to complete the rest of the steps. Since you have created the database, you can use it for your WordPress site.

After you have done all the steps required, click the WordPress setup button. The WordPress will start uploading and take you to the sign-in page after you finish uploading.
You have now installed WordPress on a local server using Xamp. You can work on it just like the sites on a host.
To control the shape and appearance of the location, go to an Appearance. You can also download a new template (Theme), and there are many free templates.
The next thing you want to try our Plugins. Additions serve as applications for your WordPress website. Also, they enable you to add special features to the site such as Contact form, Photo galleries, and eCommerce store.
