This true unseen mystery happened with my cousin, Praveen. My village is situated in Talakadu (Mysore district, Karnataka). Our village is surrounded by forest, around which revolve many ghost stories. People who used to go there at night time or day time have always felt something.
The background of the Unseen Mystery
Once there was a marriage function in another city. Most of the families went to marriage from our village, so, I, my cousin and my relatives decided to attend the marriage. We all crossed the forest and reached the marriage place. We stayed there for 2 days until all the marriage rituals were done. Everyone vacated the marriage hall, we decided to return home, but I had relatives who invited me and my relatives to visit their house which was nearby.
I and my relatives agreed but my cousin denied saying that his parents will be alone. I said ok, and he left. It was by evening 6 pm. After few days when I returned to my village, I went to my cousin’s house to check with him. He and his mother were so scared, my cousin was not keeping well, he narrated to me the incident which happened that day when he was returning to the village. He told me, that night when he was crossing the forest, he noticed a girl crying behind one of the trees.
Panic
Seeing that he started running, he felt someone was throwing stones at him, and he said someone was running behind him. Somehow he reached the village and knocked on the door. His mother opened the door, seeing him in that condition, she asked what happened? Before he could say something, his mother immediately asked him, who is the woman behind him?
He said without turning behind he ran inside the house and closed the door, and told the whole story to his mother. After listening to her son, she said she checked outside, but there was no one outside. They both felt it was a ghost that followed him from the forest. It was difficult for me to digest this truth, later I stopped walking around at night time in my village.
Everyone in the village started to believe that the spirit does enter inside the village at midnight.
