THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES: Review
THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES follows a little girl named Sara (Austyn Johnson). She discovers at church that God can move mountains with faith. Sara, a devout believer, prays for significant improvements to occur for individuals in need, resulting in miraculous outcomes.
After hearing Jesus’ teachings at church, Sara Hopkins comes to believe that God is capable of and would do anything. All she has to do is believe and ask. At first, no one believes Sara. Even when her brother, Danny, and his girlfriend, Cindy, witnessed a bird resurrect following Sara’s prayer, they remain skeptical. Perhaps the bird was merely startled or sick at the time. Perhaps the wind jarred it awake. Sara, on the other hand, is adamant: God resurrected the bird. And she is aware of this as a result of her encounter with Him.
Sara quickly realizes she is not merely requesting dead birds. A dog miraculously recovers after being hit by a car. And after inviting Sara to join him in prayer, her best friend, Mark (a paraplegic), regains his ability to walk. Everyone now wants Sara to heal. The only issue is that Sara is still a child, and treating everyone on the planet is an impossibility. Not to mention that whenever Sara prays for someone, she becomes ill immediately thereafter. And as she treats more patients, she weakens.
THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES has the main character named Sara who is aware that mending others is strangely depleting her life. Sara is adamant about helping others and many of the individuals for whom she prays for a return to assist her when she is hospitalized.
Despite his skepticism about the miracles that occur in Sara’s life, her doctor never abandons her. He prioritizes her health and ensures she receives the attention she requires.
Bonnie (Sara’s mother) screams at Sam (Sara’s grandpa) for violating hospital regulations, stating that anything that happens to Sara as a consequence of Sam’s seeming irresponsibility is his fault. She subsequently apologizes, seeing that Sam did what he did out of pure love for Sara.
Danny has a feud with a boy named Alvie, which is mostly characterized by Alvie’s bullying of Danny. However, as Sara saves Alvie’s dog, he stops being cruel to Danny, even helping fulfill Sara’s final wish.
A father intervenes to prevent two youngsters from stealing. Following that, the woman they were robbing says they’re probably good lads on the inside. They just need some supervision. At the end of each day, a lady and her daughter reflect on all the things for which they are grateful. A guy promises to donate his own life in exchange for the life of his granddaughter.
Sara is able to heal numerous animals and children via the power of faith. Two boys regain their ability to walk, a blind girl gains sight, and another girl is healed of cancer. Sara, on the other hand, is always reminding people that she is not the one doing the healing—God is.
It’s tough for anyone, particularly Sara’s family, to comprehend what’s going on. The majority remain dubious, even if they witnessed the miracles. Sara, on the other hand, never loses trust in God, even though her parents refuse to believe and her doctor attempts to rationalize away what is occurring with scientific explanations.
Having said that, many people believe. Parents send their ailing children to Sara in the hope of receiving a miracle from God. Her friends and relatives break the law to assist her in achieving her ultimate request, believing that if they do, God would heal her. And after witnessing the miracles in Sara’s life, her little community’s church fills to capacity.
Sara had a glimpse of what appears to be God hovering above the sea near her grandfather’s house. However, when Cindy and Danny arrive, they are blind. However, when Sara comes to the lake with many others, they all witness Jesus (portrayed as a young guy dressed in jeans and a T-shirt) appear in a brilliant light. Several other spirits, who appear to be humans who have died and ascended to heaven, also join Him. Through the eyes of a cured girl, we also see Jesus’ spiritual apparition standing behind Sara, touching the individuals for whom she is praying.
How Sara Inspire others:
Sara begins drawing drawings with remarkable ability and precision following her first meeting with God at the lake, and these images turn out to be glimpses of the future. Two sick youngsters discuss their dread of death and whether or not they will go to paradise after death with adults.
Sam explains to Sara that while God may not always grant our requests, He is always listening and always has a purpose for what He does or does not do. Another guy goes farther, asking why God if he exists, would create a world in which children perish.
Sara’s tremendous faith practically saves numerous people’s lives. However, many people are moved by her commitment to God. When they watch what he is capable of accomplishing through Sara, they learn to believe as well.
The film is gloomy at times and may be tough for families who have hoped for a miracle recovery but have not received it. The Girl Who Believes in Miracles, on the other hand, is constantly cautious to emphasize that God works in mysterious ways. Occasionally, He has a purpose for saying “no” to our requests. And, sadly, death is a natural part of life.
However, this subdued Christian picture instills hope. Because even if someone we care about dies, as long as they believe in Christ. They will ultimately be safe in God’s arms.
