There is a difference between being funny with your peers and writing jokes. While we are sitting among our mates, we usually do not think about what we are going to utter. We chatter, pause frequently, and then again words are issued from our mouth within a fraction of a second.
This signals how fluent we are when it comes to speaking. The same is true when we crack jokes at each other and tease. However, is the same true for writing jokes? A massive no! Because we are not fluent. We do not practice often or maybe even not a single time in our life.
Writing jokes is a flair
People consider joke writing as a flair. In fact, it is a false notion inculcated in their minds. You might be startled if I say that anyone can write puns, jokes. Probably, the thought ”Not everyone possesses a great sense of humor and a remarkable talent of writing ” has popped up in your mind. Let me convince you how it is possible.
The starting point is ”redefining” words. At this stage, you consider a specific word, split it up, and think if they have another meaning as well. It does not mean a real one as it appears when you look up a dictionary. Some words which I have redefined are as follow:

meaning: to be very mean
dicon: two-sided trick
context: a hidden message/ codewords
Have you observed how it is done? Also, it is simple and easy. With no shadow of a doubt, it could be said that one may master redefining words in just a couple of weeks by working on it continually.
You may opt to redefine at least two to three words or maybe more. Stepping forward, it will be great fun to challenge your friend to give you words and you may redefine them. If you want to go ahead, you may then try redefining phrases and jokes!
