Every grandfather teaches a lesson to their grandson or granddaughter to make the child a better person. My grandfather gave me a lesson too. It is the story of when I was ten years old. I was as timid as a cow, then my grandfather noticed that I am not so brave as him. Due to this limitation, he told me a story of a brave person shamu.
Shamu was a watchman in a small factory. Aluminum was extracted from its ore in that factory. One day most of the workers had left the factory in the evening. The remaining workers were doing overtime for some hours. Shamu ( watchman) had to guard the factory at night. shamu thought workers must have left. suddenly, he heard some sound inside the factory. shamu opened the door, he gradually peeped inside it. some lights of sector E24 were on. shamu saw the two men’s shadow. one man was killed by another with a knife.
Shamu immediately closed all the exits of the factory, he phoned the Police. Police came there and caught the culprit. Police asked shamu to check the exit register. When he checked the register, he found that all workers’ signs were there. One of the two culprits tried to run away by pushing Policeman. But shamu pursued and caught him bravely. The next day Shamu was awarded for his bravery. He became a permanent watchman there and he became famous in the whole town.
After listening to this story, I started to become as brave as shamu. I still thankful to my grandfather that he helped me to overcome my drawback. Now, I am no timider. I am as brave as my grandfather was in his childhood. I usually feel nostalgic when I miss my grandfather. he would love me.
