By definition, a promotion is a sort of progression or expansion into a new area. This entails gaining new knowledge and doing new things. Both of which, by their very nature, encourage errors in some way. The idea is not so much to prevent mistakes as it is to keep them as minor as possible and to clean up after them as quickly as possible.
Asking for too much at once
Many employees request several promotions, raises, additional privileges, and other benefits at the same time. Your manager will most likely be irritated by this. Determine your top priorities and work your way down the list as quickly as feasible.

It’s funny because making your boss’s work simpler is the best way to be promoted. And the most effective method to do it is to render his or her position obsolete. You’re not actually laying off your boss; instead, you’re allowing him or her to have faith in your work. As a result, he or she will be able to focus on new areas that the upper management has wanted to handle for some time. Work that is of high quality moves up the corporate ladder, benefits the firm, and gets you acknowledged.
Summarize Work Visually

Someone will be promoted if they are making money. The greatest internal currency is making money. The money-making statistic converts from any other internal performance statistic. Yes, saving money is also a form of profit. Anyone can formulate and argue for additional resources. Or a new title based on their understanding of the business ROI levers will almost certainly receive it. They will likely move up each time there is an argument.
You can tell when someone is truly devoted by the quality of their job, the effort they put in, and the connections they form. When employees demonstrate dedication, we pay attention and endeavor to reward them with well-deserved promotions.
