In yoga, there is an asana that removes all of the body. That is the asana of Viparitakarani. Let’s look at this asana recipe.
Vipareeta Karani Asana or the inverted pose comes from the Sanskrit word – ‘Vipareeta’ means ‘inverted’ and ‘Karani’ means ‘doing’. Vipareeta Karani asana is one of the simplest of the inverted asanas and hence easy to perform. Those who have difficulty doing the difficult inverted poses like sirsana (headstand) and Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) can get similar benefits by doing vipareeta Karani asana. This asana also is the basic pose for the Vipareeta Karani Mudra.
In Ayurveda, Siddha is commonly said to be a medicine that cures serotonin. It is said that eating this will cure all diseases.
In yoga-like that there is an asana that removes all of the body. That is the asana of Viparitakarani. The lungs are upside down in this seat. So it will come out with the polluted air in it.
How to Practice
* Lay two or three pillows on the floor.
* Sit on the pillow with the front end facing the center and not the center seat.
* In a normal breath, slowly bend back and place your hands on the floor with your scalp on the floor.
* Slowly raise both legs together and up
* Stretch the legs to 90 degrees. Place the shoulder pads around the neck across the body weight. Place the seats next to the pillow.
* Normal breathing
Warning: Do not push the legs after reaching a 90-degree position. Nor should the knees bend.
The inverted pose relieves the gravitational weight from many organs and helps in piles, hydrocele, and certain kinds of hernia.
It tones the spine, the neck, the intestines, and other organs in the abdomen.
It can help to reduce fat around the waist region.
This asana helps Prevent tumors, acne, facial wrinkles, acne, and eczema. Strengthens the nervous system, brain system, and senses. Relieves anemia and tooth decay. Doing this asana regularly with other asanas and pranayama can cure asthma, cough, bronchitis, colds, tuberculosis, nasal congestion, sinus, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
There are some restrictions on doing this asana.
If you do this asana during the day, please do not do more than 200 counts because one will fall asleep soon after doing this asana.
This asana should be done before dinner. Do the asana and then eat a meal 20 minutes later. Drinking 1 cup of hot water after this asana will make you sleep faster. It is safest to do this asana with a pillow. People with back pain, neck pain, headaches, asthma, diabetes, and circulatory problems can practice this asana regularly at night to get maximum benefits. I hope you find this post useful.
