You do not have to spend time alone to do Padmasana. Padmasana can be placed even during normal study hours. But do not sit on the padmasana while eating.
Padma means lotus. Shortly after relaxing both legs, stretch the right leg and bend it over the left thigh. Similarly, place the left leg above the right thigh.
