Here we will discuss the basics of PHOTOGRAPHY. This is not rocket science. Most of the people in Pakistan have a talent and a passion for photography and cinematography. Well, this is another field. So most of the people are ambitious and boosted up in the beginning. But as time passes it all goes down as if it was not there. No much equipment is required. A basic thing you need to be a good photographer is a camera. If you have a camera or a smartphone you can do it all.
First of all, we just need a good kinda good scenario. The most major thing is the light factor. You will have to adjust the ISO for capturing the picture at a good moment, it is recommended that beginners shall start at raw
Understand the game of exposure. It consists of three things: ISO, shutter speed, and aperture to get a balanced photo in means of sharp colors and well lit. Then you will have to step up at understanding aperture. Wide is mostly used for Portraits and Close/Narrow is mostly used for landscapes it is not as it is said or told you can do whatever you want to do no catching on it at all.
Shutter Speed
Now step up to focus on shutter speed learn it for example if you want to take a picture of moving objects you will choose a high shutter speed and vise versa.
Flash
Now you will have to be careful about the flash because it can ruin all of your settings and time spent on making that setting for a particular moment and hence you will be kinda end up with nothing at the end of the day.
Perspective
Here comes perspective it’s all about the angle and position of you and your camera. If you take a picture from a different angle it may change the whole scene. Not every angle works as described but everyone likes his own imagination. For example, you can just take a picture of your friend by placing your camera on grass, street, wooden bench, etc. it will change the whole perspective.
Tips
While shooting a portrait you can just take care of minor things as
- Always pay attention to the background, it’s good if you have natural scenery grass or a sunset view, etc.
