Mr. Jones who used to own a farm one night came lurching to lock the hen house and forgot to shut the pop-holes made his way to the bed. Sooner they started fluttering and stirring all through the farm.
The prize middle white boar (a male pig) was an old major who gathered all animals of the farm to communicate about his strange dream of the night before. The major was already ensconced on the straw bed. Other animals started to arrive one by one first came the three dogs (bluebell, Jassie, pincher) and then the pigs. The hens, pigeons, sheep, cows, the two cart-horses Boxer and clover, the white goat, and Benjamin the donkey these all animals came after each other. Benjamin was the oldest animal on the farm and worst tempered.
when all were present Major started his speech and said you all know about my strange dream let me tell you that we all are comrades and the only enemy we have is Human. He is the creature who consumes without producing he gets his work from us and gives us a miserable life. No animal is free and happy we work but Human is our lord such a cruel creature even these miserable lives are not allowed to reach the natural span. No animal escapes the cruel knife at last. To overcome all the dilemmas and get rid of men abolish him to the roots so that you can live a better life.
I won’t be able to live longer you give my message to the coming generation to carry on the struggle until it is victorious and never falter the struggle. Remember never resemble Human even after you conquered him. Do not smoke tobacco, or drink alcohol, or sleep on a bed, or touch money, all men deed are evil. Never kill animals we all are equal and comrades. He sang the song called ”Beats of England” all animals burst out in tremendous unison. Mr. Jones woke up and suddenly the animals went to their places and the farm was asleep in a moment.
Three nights letter old major died. After his death, all the animals used to have secret meetings to elaborate on the last teachings of Major and gave this thought the name of animalism. Several meetings were held to expound the principles of animalism to other animals. Mr. Jones went to Willingdon on Saturday and came back till midday of Sunday. All animals were not fed well all were starving and could barely stand. This act gave them the chance to abolish the tyranny of the Human. Altogether they came out breaking the doors and started kicking and butting all the men tremendously and in no time they flung their tormentors out of the farm and promptly ruined every memory of humans. At first, they could not believe their good fortune and could not believe it was the factual reality that they accomplished freedom.
A few moments letter with all happiness and excitement they galloped around the boundaries of the farm and went to the knoll to see their reign. The two animals who learned to read and write named the farm ”animal farm”. Animal committees were set up for organization and reduction and degree of general literacy. All the animals toiled and sweated to get the hay in they all supported each other to get the work done and helped in their capacity. Napoleon took the interest in educating the young ones almost all animals were literate on the farm now. The brain workers (the pigs) got the best of milk and fruits on the grounds that they are superior and all the management depends on them thus they needed to be healthy. All the other animals murmured but that was of no use because the pigs were the master of the farm.
Early October it was informed by the pigeons that Mr. Jones was coming with a troop of many people having sticks in their hand to attempt the recapture of the farm but the animals for sure expected this and had preparations for this day. After a gore war and losing one sheep animals won their hold onto the freedom and farm. They have won the day and ”Beasts of England” is sung.
The pigs plan the next season work here Snowball and Napoleon argued. Snowball wanted to build windmill so that the maximum of the work on the farm could be reduced while Napoleon was against it and wanted to work on food production. Napoleon called nine great dogs to chase Snowball out of the farm. At last, it was decided to build a windmill. Napoleon establishes commercial and trading relations with the human through a solicitor named Mr. Whymper but it was against the seven commandments that made all animals rebel against this action. But Squealer stood with Napoleon and tried to convince them saying that the pigs now live in Mr. Jones’s farmhouse and sleep on a bed that also deviates from seven commandments.
The windmill was ready but with no accord, they dashed down to the spot seeing the windmill destroyed Napoleon gives out that it was done by Snowball. A bitter winter suspends the building operations food became short and hens were forced to sacrifice their eggs to buy sufficient grains from outside. It was known that Snowball was after all the destruction in the farm with the help of pigs who helped Snowball in doing all drawbacks. Animal farm losses it’s pride and wonder and some principles were changed as ”Beasts of England” was replaced by another song.
The sixth commandment forbidding any animal to kill another animal is now altered to suit Napoleon’s purpose so that no animal can protest against it. All the commandments were changed one by one. The pigs started to drink whiskey and Napoleon decides to sow more barely because he would set up a brewery to make beer for pigs. The idea of equality is completely forgotten.
Years pass and all the seven commandments were abolished except one that did not look the same as it used to be it was ” All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others”. The pigs made it a regular habit to walk on two feet and wear clothes and Napoleon started smoking a pipe and it was made a routine to meet with humans and have parties everything was finished and no animals were equal anymore.
