I’m not sure how I should answer this question for you, because neither I know if I am good enough. I’ve done mistakes throughout my life and those mistakes have thrown me in the not good box. I was defined by my past, by what I regret doing, by what I want people to forget. That broke me and made me see myself as the bad guy, as the enemy. However, I’m still here and ready to tell you that… That’s a lie and a bad one.
The world is full of people judging your mistakes like they never made one. They can keep judging your mistakes but they don’t know you. You’re not what they say you are no matter what, you’re just not. The society will keep defining you from what they see and all they see are the results of bad decisions. When you live in a world that will only comment on flaws, it’s okay if you start believing in them as long as you end up realizing the truth.
It’s a trap and we’ve all been there somehow, it’s inevitable. All you need to do is ignore what they say and how it makes you feel. All you need to believe is that you are good enough, no matter what. Those things defining you, are just lies. They don’t make you, you. You are worthy even though your past and regrets.
The moment you leave those mistakes behind, you grow. When that happens you became good enough. It’s not because you forgot what you did or don’t care about it, its because you got through it. That’s the reason why you’re good enough, no matter what is said by those who don’t know the real you. You are enough, you will always be.
