How to be better at times like this?
Don’t lose hope when it comes to what is happening around you and take time to focus on yourself for yourself, make time to heal from the wounds of your past, and progress from the person you were ten seconds ago. It’s not easy to suddenly be or feel better, but I’m not asking for a change but progress and if you take a closer look at it, progress is change.
Start small. Take a break from the news. Drink a glass of water for each time you feel like you’re not good enough. Try to run and sweat your problems out for one hour or even thirty minutes. Just as long as you sweat it out. A friend of mine recommended me to dance if I ever start feeling a lack of confidence. You have no clue how much that brought me back to life. I started to see colors again when I didn’t even know I couldn’t see them.
At every opportunity, you have to move just move, be active. You should FaceTime someone, anyone, honestly, and make sure you laugh a little. Each day and every day. Life will knock you down all the time. But as long as you realize that you get stronger through the hard circumstances. It will come a day were your so resilient that it just doesn’t affect you anymore. When that day comes you will be winning because you will be growing.
Like I’ve said before, I’m not asking for you to change because I know that at times like this It’s just not wise to ask anything from whoever. Knowing the situation we’re living in right at this moment I suggest you make some progress and if you take a closer look at it, progress is change.
