Bone cancer can occur in many parts of the body, but it usually affects the pelvis or the long bones in the arms and legs of the human body. Typically, this kind of cancer begins from the bone, or it spreads from a breast. Apart from these, cancer spreads from other parts of the body are not considered as bone cancer. This pain is at first mistaken for arthritis in adults and growing pains in children and teenagers. Like arthritis, the pain increases during the night. If a bone with tumor fractures or breaks in a minor injury or fall. In the leg, it leads to a pronounced limp ,and limping is usually a late-stage bone cancer symptom.
STIFFNESS AND SWELLING OF JOINTS
If ta umor occurs near a joint or in a joint, it can cause swelling in the joint making it is stiff or tender, and this means that one’s movement is limited and painful sessions of movement experienced.
Some people experience inflammation (swelling and redness) on or around the affected bone as one of the bone cancer signs. You can also experience a lump on or around the affected area. In case the bone is near a joint, the lump or inflammation may hinder the use of the joint.
EXHAUSTION AND FATIGUE
Fatigue occurs in advanced stages of cancer due to a weakened immune system that is trying to fight back the cancerous cells. It can happen even to a person who gets good sleep during the night.
You might experience pathological problems especially if the tumor has affected an area in the bone.
