Many of us aren’t aware of the positive impact of books; on our personality, way of thinking, and how it can change our life itself! Books are one of the most important things in human’s life that we should be carrying it wherever we go. They changed my life, and my way of thinking in a huge way that made me another person with high self-confidence, positive, patient and independent one from the time I started reading books.
I consider books are a way that makes us escape from our reality. Whenever I wanted to escape, I always grab my book with some coffee. It makes you travel places far from your reality. And at the same time, it makes us face our reality with high confidence, hopefully, and no fear; you become another person with a strong personality and creative one.
How books changed my life?
At first, it was the title that grabbed my attention and my curiosity that pushed me to have look at that book, and then my passion for reading started from there.
Books can teach us things that schools will never teach it. When I started buying books and especially about self-love, help, improvement, and development, I found myself a better person; calmer one, wiser, thinking positively, trying to focus on goods more than bad. Even all the around me figured the way I changed. Whenever I feel down or out of the mood I directly fetch my book. It cheers me up, showed me that nothing impossible, and the most important thing it builds your self-confidence, and it prove to you that nothing deserves to be sad, pessimistic person because life is good, just you have to know how to live it.
And whenever I finish a book I never cease buying another one. A life without a book it’s like a garden without flowers! It is important to feed our mind with knowledge and we always have to feed it. And books are the best thing to feed the mind with.
Feelings you get while reading:
That moment when I read I forget the whole place and the people around me and travel with the author, that’s the most adorable sense. And also that moment when you start to feel tired but the book starts to get more and more interesting when you decide to close it.
When someone talks about books my enthusiasm increases and especially my Dr. in my university who always encouraged me to read more and more books. Books give you power, strength to live, love, and give.
It’s one of the greatest gifts you got in life, as Elizabeth Hardwick said: “the greatest gift is a passion for reading.”
Once you started you will never cease and you will never feel full of reading. It’s forever contagious!
