Money is literally nothing but a piece of paper. It is an important method for buying things. The question is “Is Money the source of happiness?”, it depends on our mindset, our circumstances. Money is not the only mean of happiness but sometimes it is because our circumstances makes us realize if it brings happiness or not.
- If we think from the perspective of a poor man’s situation, we can see that sometimes money is very valuable for him. Something people can’t afford doing things that are important for them because of the lack of money. Poor children don’t get to attend school because they don’t have money. They are spoiling their valuable childhood by working instead of getting Education. Some people can’t fulfill their dreams because they don’t have money. Sometimes money is so important that it can save a life. Every year a lot of people are dying for not getting treatment. They can’t afford expensive treatment for sue to poverty. Many families don’t get to eat three meals a day because they don’t have enough income. Poor people are suffering all the time because of not having enough money. To them money can bring anything. They think that money is the only mean of happiness as they can make their life better with it. Poor people think money is everything that they need for their life. Everything revolves around your circumstances. Money can’t bring everything. Yes, we need money for treatment but it can’t save the life of a person who is doomed to die. Money can give you food, but it will stop in case of sickness. We need money for buying things not for happiness.
Now think from the perspective of a rich man, money is only an exchange method for him. All the rich are not happy about their money. Sometimes they have a lot of money, but they can’t do anything with it . For instance, if a person is sick who have a lot of money, he will get high expended treatment but if he can’t be cured is there any benefit for that money. Some people have money and they are also able to get food three times a day but if they don’t have a family to eat with, they have to eat alone. Is there any happiness to eat alone every time. A rich man has a lot of money, thus, certainly he has everything necessary that he needs but is he happy about having money. Not all people are happy just because they have money. Rich people have money, but they will be happy when they have a family, a partner. They will be happy if they have a good health and ability to afford any work. Therefore, it depends on our situation that makes us think about money. Money can’t solve anything. It can’t save the person who won’t live, it can’t give you the strength to work if you are not strong enough.
HAPPINESS is our internal feeling . It’s not a staff that we can buy from any shop. It is a feeling that refreshes our mind. Money is for buying staff like food, cloths, shelter etc., but it can’t buy happiness. Happiness comes from heart. Money can give us a better life, but can it guarantee that you will be happy after that. Human beings are naturally a little greedy. If they have something, they want something more than that. Thus, they will not be happy if they even have enough. Our situation makes us think that money will give happy but it’s not true. Money is not the only mean of happiness. You will get happiness if you are satisfied with what you have. We need to change our mindset. If we think we have enough for living, then we won’t have the desire to have anything other than that. We will be tension free if we are satisfied and thus, we will be happy. We are happy when we are with our family, enjoying nature etc. Money is not the solution. I’m not saying money is not important because obviously money is important as it can buy things for us which are necessary for living. we should make money, but we shouldn’t be greedy. We should earn money in a right way. Money is for living our life comfortably. You will be happy for living in comfort but that’s only for a short time. Eventually, being happy doesn’t depend on money. It depends on ourselves. We should cherish every moment in our life.
